Dear Sir or Madam,

i've read about your nice place in my travel guide and visited your internet homepage. Im a specifically interested in the bed and breaktfast option. How much do you charge for a single adult per night?

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have enjoyed browsing through your web site. You have a beautiful place.
My husband will be working in Houma for a few months... I plan on making a few
trips with the kids once school gets out. I will surely put your gardens on
our "places to see" list.

Have a wonderful day

Dear Betty and Vernon

I don't know if you'll remember me and my best friend, Deb, but we were two photographers who came to stay at your beautiful cabins in 2007. I just wanted to make sure all was good with you after the hurricane, and to let you know that Deb and I think of you and your wonderful gardens often. Staying with you and visiting the swamps was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Deb has had two shows of the photographs she made while we were with you, and has another one coming up in August. You can see her photos at www.debmansfield.com. I've also been exhibiting my photographs and will let you know when they are on my website.

I plan to come to Louisiana in the next year or so, and will be sure to come and visit you...I want to show my husband how amazing your place is! Take care and all my best wishes to you and your family!

Warm regards

Romy Willing

You may not remember us but we came 18mos ago and arrived late at night in the rain. We had an incredible time...awoke to umbrellas placed near our porch so we could join you for a wonderful, warm breakfast. WE loved our cabin perched right on the swamp. Since we are from California this was one of those experiences of a lifetime...and we travel a lot. What made it extra special was your friendliness. We came on a night that only one other cabin was rented and that made it very personal and special. I sit now and think of you often as I drink from my Wildlife mug. Carol and Wendell

We had a fabulous time this weekend at WG. A true world unto itself in a bucolic setting. Your museum and nature walks are incredible. And the food, dancing, and socializing. Unique! No wonder people from all over the world travel to WG.

Ms.Betty, after speeking to you today at the office. My husband & I looked at your website. We are going to have to come check it out. It's so crazy that we live so close and I didn't even know about your place. Just think, all these people from all over know more about the things around us that we just take for granted. I guess it's kinna like the people from the mountains, after a while it's just an everyday thing. I will have to figure out where you are located. Hope to talk to you soon. Laurie

Hello, My husband and I are moving to Louisiana and have decided to settle around your area. I was looking around the RV resorts webpage on things to see and do and noticed your site and was looking through it. It looks wonderful! I can't wait to get there and go tour your gardens. We should be able to tour this coming week if you have openings. I will also make sure that every family member that comes to visit us takes a tour also. Your site, and your grounds, look amazing. We look forward to seeing them and meeting you.
Sincerely,
Kim and Bill Harris

My family (my husband, 9 yr. old son & myself) visited Wildlife Gardens over Memorial Day weekend. We just fell in love with Ms. Betty and Mr. Vernon and the whole atmosphere at Wildlife Gardens. We spent three nights and by the time we left on Tuesday, we felt like we were leaving friends and had not just been paying guests. We've already been talking about when (not if), but when we go back to visit! Thanks, Ms. Betty and Mr. Vernon for a most memorable part of our vacation!

My cousin and I had such a fun stay here a few years ago--I am just seeing the website now. It was a real thrill to feed the alligators, and Betty made us a lovely breakfast and sat and talked with us for awhile. I highly recommend Wildlife Gardens for a unique, relaxing vacation experience.

Hi, Mrs. Betty,

Hi, it's me! This will be the 4th or 5th time I bring my preschool class to beautiful Wildlife Gardens! We take several field trips to various interesting places every month but this is always the best--and I always look forward to it all year! Wildlife Gardens never disappoints and your generous hospitality is a plus! As you know, my students are four-years old and they love seeing the cajun cabin, all the animals, petting the ALLIGATORS (!) and turtles, feeding the goats, and especially seeing those gorgeous white peacocks! We always learn so much when we visit! After the tour, the children love eating their lunch picnic-style on the tables in the beautiful OUTDOORS! Their parents are always impressed and surprised that Houma has such a unique and interesting place to visit!

I just can't say enough great things about your place! I'm so glad you provide us with such a lovely adventure! See you on April 6!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Sarah

We had a wonderful time in the area with the awesome food ( including breakfast with you guys which was our favorite) and the swamp tours. We hope to get back to your area someday. Thanks for adding a facebook page for Wildlife Gardens as well. I hope to get some pictures posted on there from our stay over Easter weekend.

Hi
We are a french family who spent one night in cabin #2. We had a wonderful time in wildlife garden. Betty and Vernon are very friendly. We appreciated very much the time spent with them during the breakfast and the tour in the garden. Our son Lucas loved turtles and the feeding of alligators. We'll probably comme back. Tank you for everything.

I've stayed with Vern and Betty twice already and each time was amazing. The cabins are nice, the views are fantastic, and the company is even better. I hope to be visiting again in the next month or so and am counting the days!

Was just checking, to see if you were still here after Katriana. My sister and I came and spent a couple of wonderful nights in 2004 with you. I thought of you when thinking of taking my son and his family for a wonderful weekend after his brain cansor surgery this last month. I'm so glad to see your here and doing well. Hope you have room for us this next month in August.

We used to frequently stay with you before moving from Houston to Edmonton Canada. We are wondering if you are still operating after all the Hurricane's that came your way.Did you get any damage? Thinking of making a visit in early 2013.

We were there in July of 2000 and we're planning a trip with some friends who have never been in Louisiana, much less the bayou. We are SO glad you're not effected by Katrina. Last time were were with the kids. This time we want to shock the beejesus out of our friends. Fantastic experience and can't wait to do it again.

We had stayed at the Gardens on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 and had a wonderful experience. Betty was so informative and her husband Vernon was a very kind soul. If you want a different type of B&B then this is the place to go. No tv or phone & a peaceful evening to spend reading. It does have electricity if you must bring your computer, but don't ruin the serene feel of having no connection with the outside world. Thank you for the time you spent with us at breakfast and there after.

Our family of four stayed a night in Betty's cabins. She and Vernon were great hosts! My kids loved wandering around the land, and feeding the peacocks and baby alligators. I would recommend Wildlife Gardens to anyone who wanted to experience the bayou.

My husband and I stayed here in cabin #4.It is the most remote cabin. We sat out on the screened porch at night and heard some very unusual sounds! My husband said the noises were the "rooogaroo" (not sure how to spell it). My husband almost stepped on a snake while walking to the car one night, so watch your step. Betty and her husband were so nice and accomidating! Breakfast was excellent every single day! We roamed the gardens and saw the alligators and the babies. We ate at Bayou Delight, which is the only restaurant near by. While eating at Bayou Delight, we met Liz (from Swamp People) and her family and they were so nice. If you want to get back to nature and have no internet connection or TV, then this is the place for you! Thanks Betty! We will never forget you!

We stayed here in July of 2015, and it was AMAZING!!!!!! Please take your family to this wonderful place. Betty and Vernon will tell you stories about the land, feed you a yummy breakfast and make you feel at home. We enjoyed feeding the gators and peacocks, and saw several species of snakes, spiders, and HUGE grasshoppers. (DONT BE SCARED…IT REALLY BEAUTIFUL) This place is the perfect way to "GET AWAY FROM IT ALL" A wonderful way to get back to nature. Nothing fancy, just good 'ol cajun folks enjoying life….WE WILL BE COMING BACK FOR SURE!!!

I was pulling up this website to send to a friend whom I shared my experiences with who is from Colorado and fell in love with Louisiana on a vacation in 2014. We first visited Betty and James in 1995 and visited again with Betty and Vernon in 2007 when we had our German exchange student with us. We had a wonderful time both times we visited. I would love to visit Wildlife Gardens every year if I could but now live in Colorado. I feel anyone visiting here will be guaranteed a wonderful time.
