I don't know if you'll remember me and my best friend, Deb, but we were two photographers who came to stay at your beautiful cabins in 2007. I just wanted to make sure all was good with you after the hurricane, and to let you know that Deb and I think of you and your wonderful gardens often. Staying with you and visiting the swamps was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Deb has had two shows of the photographs she made while we were with you, and has another one coming up in August. You can see her photos at www.debmansfield.com. I've also been exhibiting my photographs and will let you know when they are on my website.

You may not remember us but we came 18mos ago and arrived late at night in the rain. We had an incredible time...awoke to umbrellas placed near our porch so we could join you for a wonderful, warm breakfast. WE loved our cabin perched right on the swamp. Since we are from California this was one of those experiences of a lifetime...and we travel a lot. What made it extra special was your friendliness. We came on a night that only one other cabin was rented and that made it very personal and special. I sit now and think of you often as I drink from my Wildlife mug. Carol and Wendell

We had a fabulous time this weekend at WG. A true world unto itself in a bucolic setting. Your museum and nature walks are incredible. And the food, dancing, and socializing. Unique! No wonder people from all over the world travel to WG.

My family (my husband, 9 yr. old son & myself) visited Wildlife Gardens over Memorial Day weekend. We just fell in love with Ms. Betty and Mr. Vernon and the whole atmosphere at Wildlife Gardens. We spent three nights and by the time we left on Tuesday, we felt like we were leaving friends and had not just been paying guests. We've already been talking about when (not if), but when we go back to visit! Thanks, Ms. Betty and Mr. Vernon for a most memorable part of our vacation!

My cousin and I had such a fun stay here a few years ago--I am just seeing the website now. It was a real thrill to feed the alligators, and Betty made us a lovely breakfast and sat and talked with us for awhile. I highly recommend Wildlife Gardens for a unique, relaxing vacation experience.

Hi, it's me! This will be the 4th or 5th time I bring my preschool class to beautiful Wildlife Gardens! We take several field trips to various interesting places every month but this is always the best--and I always look forward to it all year! Wildlife Gardens never disappoints and your generous hospitality is a plus! As you know, my students are four-years old and they love seeing the cajun cabin, all the animals, petting the ALLIGATORS (!) and turtles, feeding the goats, and especially seeing those gorgeous white peacocks! We always learn so much when we visit! After the tour, the children love eating their lunch picnic-style on the tables in the beautiful OUTDOORS! Their parents are always impressed and surprised that Houma has such a unique and interesting place to visit!

I just can't say enough great things about your place! I'm so glad you provide us with such a lovely adventure! See you on April 6!

I wanted to tell you that we had such a wonderful 3 days with you, Vernon and Wildlife Gardens. It was so relaxing and beautiful. We had a wonderful time in the area with the awesome food ( including breakfast with you guys which was our favorite) and the swamp tours. We hope to get back to your area someday. Thanks for adding a facebook page for Wildlife Gardens as well. I hope to get some pictures posted on there from our stay over Easter weekend.
